Drawn In: A Creative Process for Artists Activists and Jesus Followers
In Drawn In Troy Bronsink shows how the rhythms of God's creative work can be rediscovered through design thinking and creative processes. By understanding God in this new way, Christian creatives are then invited to be "drawn in" to the creative, ongoing, divine work. Exercises throughout the book invite participation in God's life and redemptive rhythms. This holistic approach will shift how Christian creatives and church leaders think of mission, worship, collaboration, and everyday discipleship.
Songs to Pray By
On March 23 and 24 a host of people put together the stage, lights, sound, beer table, and months of rehearsals culminated in recordings of both the dress rehearsal and live show involving as many as 18 musicians—all live to tape.
Songs to Pray By, is the fruit of a three year collaborative friendship. Troy Bronsink and Atlanta's City Church Eastside come together to form a hybrid of community based mission, creativity, and prophetic imagination. This album does something unique for congregational worship music. Ranging a wide variety of styles from indie-folk, post-rock, to primitive americana, these songs to pray by move listeners to first rest in God's Love, until they gain energy from the testimonies of that Love, concluding with connections made to the demonstration of Love in the world in which we live.
